My sister came in my room today to give me an early birthday present :)
ICING nail polish...
...2 glow in the dark polishes and 1 shatter polish.
I feel like I'm the last person in the world to try a shatter nail polish. I saw randomly one day that my sister had a shatter nail polish on her toes and was shocked that even she tried it out before me! haha.. I guess she remembered that and picked up one for me for my birthday :)
My favorite color is orange :) and so she also got two glow in the dark nail polishes (never heard of that, but it sounded really cool!) one that is orange and another that's a super bright highlighter yellow color.
It took me all of 10 seconds before I tried them out haha (I just couldn't wait). I already had on OPI's Barefoot in Barcelona on my nails so I just painted right over them.
They both glow the same yellow which is still cool but I wish that the orange one would actually glow orange, but no big deal.
The shatter one was weird to get used to. You can't put too much or too little or else it won't "shatter" nicely. Hopefully the more I play around with it, the easier it will be. It was also cool to watch it actually shatter before your eyes. Takes a few minutes for the whole process to complete so you just have to wait, but it's about the same amount of time that it would take for regular nail polish to dry normally.
I put a top coat over it after and then took the pics. Thank you sister for giving me the opportunity to try out a shatter polish :)
